Headaches and migraines occur relatively often and even though there’s a big difference between a headache and a migraine, essentially, they’re both the same. Therefore, the same strains can be used to treat both conditions. So, let’s take a look at 5 strains for headache and migraine treatment.

1. Harlequin

One of the strains to treat headaches and migraines is Harlequin, Sativa-dominant hybrid. It has 5:2 CBD / THC ratio, which means it will reduce the pain and relax you, but it’s non-sedative so you won’t feel intense high and feel sleepy later. This makes it a perfect strain if you wish to continue your day.

2. ACDC

You can also always use strain ACDC, Sativa-dominant hybrid. Like Harlequin, ACDC is a high CBD strain, which means it’s appropriate for daytime use. It treats different types of pain and amongst others, it’s also effective with treating headaches and especially migraines.

3. Blue Cheese

Blue Cheese is Indica-dominant strain that gives you a feeling of relief from discomfort without losing concentration. It also relaxes you without lessening much vitality or feeling sleepy. So, it’s yet another strain recommended for daytime use.

4. White Widow

Next strain with the capability to treat headaches and migraines is White Widow, Sativa-dominant hybrid. It’s well known for its painkilling properties and like previous strains, also White Widow stimulates and relaxes you at the same time. It’s also great for facilitating muscle pressure at the back of your neck.

5. God’s Gift

Lastly on the list of strains for headaches and migraines is God’s Gift, Indica-dominant strain. It gives immediate full-body sentiment of happiness, which is great for overall improving your state of mind and in addition for treating conditions like headaches. God’s gift indeed! But use this strain in the evening since you’ll most likely feel sleepy after it.
