The life span of a cannabis seed can range from six months to ten years, depending on how the seed has been stored. Ideal conditions for storing seeds are in a closed bag or container in a cool, dark and dry place.
How to extend their lifespan?
On the recommendation of some experts, if you want to prolong the life of cannabis seeds, store them in a refrigerator or freezer. In such conditions, the seed would have to withstand ten times as much as stored at room temperature. This method, of course, cannot be applied to all types of seeds - so care must be taken. For best results, we recommend storing cannabis seeds in glass jars with a seal on the lid. Plastic packaging is not recommended due to poor permeability. Germination of cannabis seeds is the most important factor in cultivation because without this process there is no plant. If the seed does not sprout, various factors are to blame. Why doesn't some seeds sprout?
