If you're perhaps wondering what's the difference between slug and snail, read this first and then return.

How to recognize that slugs and snails are eating your plant?

Recognizing who's responsible for eating your plant isn't particularly hard when it comes to slugs and snails. Pay attention to the trails of slime near the plant and on the leaves of it. It's kinda hard not to recognize them since they glisten in the sun. And next clue is, of course, wholes on the leaves.

However, if you're still a bit unsure, you can try to bust them at work. Just keep in mind that they're hiding when the temperatures are too high and the sun shines. So on a dry, sunny day, wait a few hours after it gets dark or wake up early in the morning before the sunrise to go check your garden for slugs and snails.

Time to get rid of slugs and snails

Once you've recognized slugs and snails on cannabis it's time to get rid of them before they completely destroy your precious. There are plenty of ways how to do so, varying from nature-friendly to more hardcore measures. However, we're going to present only the easiest and in most cases reliable way.

Firstly, you get rid of slugs and snails on cannabis or at least protect your cannabis garden from them by placing barriers. This can be achieved with plastic bottle cloches, sprinkle circles of lime, nutshells, eggshells, and so on. Anything that will make it hard for slugs and snails to reach your plants.

To be double sure, also make a beer trap since slugs and snails are attracted to it. Pour beer into the can cut in half or any other container high approximately 2 cm, then place it near the garden. Slugs and snails will willingly slide inside to get a taste of that delicious beer but will later drown and therefore leave your garden at peace.
